Recently a team of doctors and nurses gave their time to provide free liver checks to our homeless and needy guests.

In a partnership between The Exodus Foundation and NSW Health guests were offered consultations as well as on-the-spot blood tests and liver scans.

Most of our homeless guests suffer two or more chronic health conditions, so managing their health is crucial. If left untreated, liver-related diseases can lead to cancer and death.

Over X liver tests were provided on the day and treatment plans were provided for those who needed it.

“This initiative is both important and much-needed”, said Rev. Crews. “It’s the sort of care most of us take for granted, but it is largely inaccessible to rough sleepers.”

Your support is crucial so please give today.
