In Memory of Guler Minareci

Too soon to say goodbye to our sweet, kind friend. Guler was our gatherer of native and exotic blooms, holding us together in an eager bouquet of laughter, long chats, and fabulous pot lucks. She balanced toil with pleasure. She gave much time to feeding and clothing those in need. She was honest and open and much loved. What a gift to this country and to our community! I'll miss her so.

Thank you to my sweet Guler for being such a wonderful friend and person. Every time we get together you always have yummy food for us, the joys the laughter and your smile that makes me happy. You were always willing to help in School Canteen and other activities in community, you gave us so much of your time and you never complained. I will never forget your kindness towards everyone you were a wonderful mother to Nissan a sister to your siblings. We shall miss you so much. Bii

Guler was a blessed woman when she walked the earth. She radiated kindness, generosity and love, and brought joy to the people she met. May the Lord bless my friend's soul and let her live eternally with Him in peace.

Thank you to sweet Guler for creating a kind, caring and welcoming community for families at Randwick PS, especially those whose families were outside Australia. We will miss your kindness and energy and enthusiasm for life and love of food, the arts, culture, fun, music 🎶 and all the things that got us out and about in beautiful Sydney. Your love and dedication to Nisan was an inspiration and your hard work has set her up for a wonderful life in Australia.

Generous, Unique, Luminescent, Earnest, Receptive. Guler, you were all these and more. Willing to try new things..mostly, you had the x factor. An amazing mother to beautiful Nisan, a great sister, a dear friend, and someone that wanted everyone in her life to be happy. We will miss you and you will forever be in our hearts xx
