Vulnerable Sydneysiders, including rough sleepers and the homeless, will get free flu vaccinations in 2021 at The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation.
The Foundation is partnering with the NSW Primary Health Network, Sydney Local Health District and Street Side Medics to administer the free flu vaccinations in 2021.
Up to 250 free flu vaccinations in one day
The flu vaccinations will be given free of charge to the homeless, vulnerable and marginalised in the community.
The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation anticipates it will administer 250 vaccinations in a single day.
Free flu vaccinations in 2021 give winter protection
Ensuring the homeless and rough sleepers are vaccinated against the flu is a genuine life saver. Indeed, the Foundation’s own research indicates a typical homeless person suffers multiple chronic health conditions. This makes them especially susceptible to winter flu and pneumonia.
The Rev. Bill Crews Foudnation has been protecting the homeless and rough sleepers with its annual flu vaccination program for over a decade.
