Our homeless guests are especially susceptible to COVID-19. That’s why we’ve rolled out a booster shot program to protect them.
“Ensuring the homeless are fully vaccinated has been a top priority”, said Rev. Bill Crews. “It’s part of our duty of care to these most vulnerable of people.”
The rough sleepers we care for typically suffer two chronic health conditions. So in addition to the their double vaccinations, we’ve now also given them booster shots too.
Our booster shot program has been run in conjunction with a team of community nurses from NSW Health. So far over 350 boosters have been administered to our vulnerable guests.
